An Empowering Journey

Since its inception in 2018, Spirit Woman has blossomed into a vibrant collective of women dedicated to unlocking the mysteries of their bodies and harmonizing with their cyclical nature. What began on the serene shores of Hawai'i has now transcended borders, touching the lives of thousands of women across the globe. Through the illuminating book, The BLOOD Book, and transformative online course, Cycle Aligned Life, Spirit Woman has empowered countless women to not only embrace their cycles but also to step into the role of certified cycle guides, fostering a community of wisdom and support.

Leanna and Tirzah, the co-owners of Spirit Woman, gaze into the future with palpable excitement and anticipation. As we continue to grow and evolve, we look forward to publishing more books, facilitating vibrant online women's circles, and cultivating a thriving community of women reclaiming their power and deepening their connection to the wisdom of their cycles. Founder & Owner

Leanna Pareja

Leanna founded Spirit Woman in 2018 after experiencing profound personal loss: the stillbirth of her daughter, Evangeline, and the upheaval of a volcanic eruption in her community. In the face of grief, she chose to create something beautiful. Spirit Woman became a way to channel her passion for cyclical living and healing into a movement that has since touched the lives of thousands.

Leanna with her husband Joe named their daughter Evangeline, which means “Messenger of good news.” Leanna believes that part of her daughter’s mission was to help bring forth a sense of hope and awareness as well as shine a new light to the forgotten cycles of women.

Leanna’s journey into cyclical awareness began with her own struggles, from navigating the challenges of hormonal birth control to discovering the empowering wisdom of her body’s rhythms. Over the years, she’s lived through transitions, from walking away from a high-powered corporate career to finding healing and strength through honoring her cycle.

Today, as a mother to her son Bodhi and a passionate advocate for women’s health, Leanna is dedicated to breaking taboos surrounding menstruation and the lack of awareness around Mothers who’ve lost. Her mission is to unite women through shared experiences, sisterhood, and the reclamation of our cyclical power.

Tirzah Ponce

Tirzah joined Spirit Woman in 2019, inspired by her passion for women’s health, cyclical living, and holistic wellness. Her journey into intentional living began early, starting with meditation at age 10 and yoga at age 16, becoming a certified yoga teacher by 22. These formative practices shaped her belief in the power of aligning life with natural rhythms.

While Leanna and Tirzah were living together in community on Hawaii, they immersed themselves in researching and tracking their cycles, revealing transformational patterns and the power of living in alignment with their bodies.

This awareness kickstarted a deep connection to her cyclical nature, which has become a guiding force for Tirzah, helping her navigate life's transitions— from becoming a yoga teacher and recovering from physical injuries to working as COO of a psychotherapy practice and serving as a birth doula. Living a cycle-aligned life has been a source of strength in her work, healing, and relationships. She blends research, ancient wisdom, and personal experience to provide practical tools for every woman seeking to live more harmoniously with her body.

Today, Tirzah is thrilled to lead a movement that empowers women worldwide to reconnect with their bodies, realign with their cycles, and celebrate the beauty of their innate wisdom.
